I booked an appointment at Vows as I walked past and thought the shop was beautiful. From the moment I walked in Rowan made me feel so comfortable. I'm a high street 16/18 and the majority of the dresses at Vows wouldn't have fitted me, but I was never ever made to feel uncomfortable. I was brought several choices that would fit me, just they weren't what I was looking for. Rowan then, very tactifully suggested that I visit their sister store, Curves. They specialise in 16+, I was absolutely buzzing. I was booked in for a few days later, for a lady who is bigger, I was never made to feel judged or unwelcome, in fact is was the total opposite. I cannot recommend this shop enough, any bride looking for the perfect experience Vows is your place. ~ Keely W

What a wonderful and stress-free dress shopping experience. After initially booking with Curves their sister plus size store as I'm midsize, dresses were pulled from both Vows and Curves for me to try. I'm not particularly self conscious but I was nervous about trying them on for the first time. They made me feel at ease while gently pushing my comfort zone, and ended up loving shapes and cuts I never thought I would. My follow up appointments we're all easy going, and enjoyable and the store attendants really hype you up! Every step from purchase, alterations to collection was smooth sailing. I visited Vows Bridal today and had the most incredible experience! This was the first bridal dress shop I had visited and I had no idea what to expect. Right from the minute we arrived, the staff who greeted us were friendly and enthusiastic. They made my mum, Maid of Honour and me all feel very comfortable and really listened to what I thought I wanted from a dress and picked out a great selection for me to try on. Rowan was so helpful, supportive and patient through the whole appointment; it was such a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where I felt I could really be my self. I can’t thank you enough, Rowan, for helping me to find a dress that was absolutely perfect! Vows have been nothing but amazing for my first bridal dress experience! Steph at my initial appointment was so lovely and accommodating! I walked away within less than an hour with my dream dress which they were able to custom make too! I had been so nervous waiting to see it for the first time after 6 months of patiently waiting it was everything and more! I can’t wait to wear my beautiful gown! The ladies were so lovely and even to my family I brought with me. The whole experience was all I could wish for. I would highly recommend visiting Vows Bridal if you’re looking for the wedding dress of your dreams! I had the most gorgeous experience with Kelly, Beth & Rowan who were all so so welcoming & lovely. I managed to pick the dress that I loved and felt comfortable in thanks to their help! I didn’t pick the dress in the photo but I honestly could have taken home more than one if it was possible, they had a beautiful collection and shop with plenty of options for any bride. I recently visited Vows Bridal in search of my wedding dress. This was the first bridal shop I had visited and after feeling so nervous the whole morning, Kelly & Rowan immediately made me feel so comfortable! They picked out a lot of different dresses based on pictures I had shown and were so patient and professional in helping me try them all on. I managed to find the most perfect dress (and about another 10 which I also could’ve almost said yes to 😂) and I cannot wait to go back to try it on again 🥰 Would definitely recommend to anyone. I would highly recommend Vows from the minute I walked in quite nervous, I was put to ease. Lots of dresses so many styles and ranges. I was told the price ranges for the rails, Has I had a price in mind. All staff lovely, friendly, we had plenty of chats along my journey with alterations, Kelly who’s absolutely amazing. My dress was perfect, loved it. We got married at Gretna green then 5 days later was having a wedding do local. It was no bother for Kelly to re steaming my dress for me. What a fabulous shop Vows is. Feeling a little apprehensive, I was immediately made to feel at ease by Kelly & Gemma! After thinking I knew what I wanted, they showed me so many different options of dresses, throwing lots of spanner’s in the works! They made me feel incredible & so beautiful, and I said YES to the dress (and not the one I went to try on initially!). Vows bridal was the first bridal shop I visited to try find the perfect dress. I had the best experience here and actually ended up saying yes to the dress!! I went in three stores when choosing my dress, and one of them was so pushy I struggled to get out of the shop! Vows, on the other hand, didn't pressure me into making the decision. I ended up sitting on the decision for a couple of weeks before going back and telling them I wanted to go ahead. Great company and really helpful in trying to find that perfect wedding dress !! It was my first ever appointment in trying on wedding dresses and the staff were so attentive and always responding to all of my queries via phone and text. By far one of the best bridal dresses shop in Wakefield! The customer service was fantastic very person centred, very attentive and very friendly! I bought my dress from Curves Bridal, the other side to Vows and I had the best experience. It was the first shop I visited and as a plus size bride I was terrified I won't lie. But as soon as I arrived I felt so welcomed and Rowan was just so lovely. I found my dress which I adore, and every visit since has been great. Would highly recommend. ~ Kate C

I can not recommend enough! From the first phone call to saying yes, the ladies at vows made me feel so comfortable and were so full of knowledge.
